    Piotr has specialized in real estate since 1995, his main focus being on investment, development and finance work. He has led and negotiated multiple single asset and portfolio transactions (notably in sale and leaseback, forward purchase and forward funding structures), primarily in the retail, logistics and office sectors. During his career, he has been involved in a number of institutional and landmark projects, like acquisitions of the largest retail assets in the CEE region, and advanced revitalization schemes regarding historic buildings and town planning. Piotr regularly advises on forming joint venture structures.

    His activity impresses for its high value and cross-border aspects. Piotr is very active in the industrial market. For example, he advised EQT Exeter on one of the largest logistics transactions completed after the Russian invasion of Ukraine - the €110 million acquisition of the Panattoni Park Gdansk Airport distribution centre, a high-quality logistics asset in Gdansk. Piotr also completed a number of acquisitions of PRS projects, as well as forward purchase and forward funding transactions for Heimstaden Bostad, one of which, valued at €310 million, was one of the largest residential transactions in Poland to date.

    He is ranked as a top tier real estate lawyer in Poland by independent legal directories. Chambers Europe has placed him for several years in Band 1. Piotr is also ranked as Leading Individual by the Legal 500 EMEA and recommended as an expert by Who’s Who Legal.

    Poland Co-Managing Partner, the Deputy Head of Real Estate practice group at Dentons and a core member of the Hotels and Leisure sector team. Bartłomiej is a market leader and a transactional lawyer with over 15 years of experience in advising clients on their investments in the property sector. He represents real estate investors, private equity, private funds, developers and asset managers in complex real estate law matters including civil, administrative and commercial aspects.

    Bartłomiej has led numerous investment transactions (asset, enterprise and share deals) involving all kinds of property (office buildings, warehouses, shopping malls, hotels as well as residential / student housing / PRS), also under sale and leaseback, forward purchase, forward funding or in joint venture structures. He is also an experienced negotiator of agreements with hotel managers as well as hotel lease agreements.

    He advised clients on many of the landmark real estate investment transactions in Poland, including €350 million sale of Warsaw Spire by Ghelamco, EPP's €692.1 million acquisition of the M1 portfolio of 12 retail properties and JV retail deal for EPP and Redefine Properties. He also advised Ghelamco on the historic sale of the Warsaw HUB complex to Google Poland for €583 million. It was the largest single office transaction in the history of the Polish and CEE market. Bartłomiej plays a leading role in all major investment projects undertaken by the Scandinavian investor and developer, Skanska, in Warsaw and other Polish cities. In the first quarter of 2022 he completed three mega-deals which accounted for 75% of the total volume transacted in Poland during this period.

    Partner in Dentons’ Warsaw office and a Co-Head of Banking and Finance practice group. Bartosz is a transactional lawyer with over 15 years’ of experience in the financial and commercial real estate markets. He focuses in his practice on syndicated and bilateral financings within real estate and corporate sector, advising on both lenders’ and borrowers’ side. He has led or participated in numerous finance transactions, including real estate finance, project finance, acquisition finance, asset finance, as well as restructurings.

    His experience covers drafting and negotiating credit documentation, in particular LMA standard loan documentation, term sheets, intercreditor agreements, as well as security documents. He represents leading Polish and foreign banks and borrowers, including developers, listed companies, private equity funds and private investors.

    Bartosz has played a leading role in the largest real estate finance transactions in Poland and the CEE region. He represented consortium of banks in the refinancing of large warehouse and office portfolios. He is also active in the emerging PRS market, having arranged financing for a leading residential investor in Europe, which was a unique project for the sector. Bartosz also secured the largest ever financing in Poland and one of the largest in the CEE for HB Reavis to refinance the Varso Place, a landmark mixed-use development in Warsaw.

    In 2016, Bartosz completed a six-month long secondment with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in London, where he was responsible for cross-border projects, diverse types of financings, including bilateral and syndicated loan agreements, restructurings, re-financings and project finance transactions, mainly concerning renewables, in Cyprus, Romania, Albania, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Jordan, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Ukraine and FYR Macedonia.
